Pet Professional Agreement

Last Updated: 04/12/2025

This Agreement (“Agreement”) is between CoreTrack Ltd (“PawTrack”) and the individual or business registering as a Pet Professional (“Professional”) on the PawTrack platform. By creating a Professional account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

1. Independent Professional Status

The Professional acknowledges and agrees that:

  • They are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or representative of PawTrack.
  • They set their own prices, schedules, and service methods.
  • PawTrack does not control how services are performed and does not supervise appointments.
  • No employment, partnership, or joint venture relationship is created by this Agreement.

2. Insurance Requirements

The Professional is solely responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage, including:

  • Public liability insurance
  • Pet care or pet service insurance suitable for the services they offer
  • Any additional coverage required by local council or regulatory bodies

PawTrack may request updated insurance information at any time and may limit platform visibility if verification cannot be provided.

3. Professional Responsibilities

The Professional agrees to:

  • Deliver services in a safe, humane, and species-appropriate manner
  • Accept only appointments they are qualified and competent to handle
  • Follow all relevant local animal welfare laws and regulations
  • Review pet information before appointments and request clarification when needed
  • Stop an appointment if a safety or welfare concern arises

Additional expectations are defined in the Professional Code of Conduct.

4. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

The Professional agrees to comply with:

  • UK animal welfare legislation (including the Animal Welfare Act 2006)
  • Local licensing or inspection requirements applicable to pet-related services
  • Any species-specific regulations relevant to their work

PawTrack does not validate or certify legal compliance and is not responsible for regulatory breaches.

5. Incident Reporting

The Professional must notify PawTrack as soon as reasonably possible if an appointment results in:

  • A pet injury, escape, or serious welfare concern
  • A dispute involving safety, misconduct, or professional conduct
  • An insurance claim or regulatory investigation

PawTrack reviews reports for policy compliance but does not arbitrate factual disputes.

6. Subscription & Platform Access

Professionals may access PawTrack through a paid subscription model. They acknowledge that:

  • Subscriptions provide platform tools and visibility, not guaranteed business or income
  • PawTrack does not take commission on bookings
  • Payments for appointments are processed via Stripe between Parent and Professional

Subscription refunds are not issued unless required by law or under PawTrack’s general refund terms.

7. Account Review & Removal

PawTrack may suspend or remove a Professional account where:

  • Insurance cannot be verified
  • Safety or welfare concerns are reported
  • Policy violations occur (e.g., off-platform payments, unsafe behaviour, harassment)
  • Repeated no-shows or cancellations affect booking reliability

All enforcement follows the Platform Moderation Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

PawTrack is not a party to the service agreement between a Professional and a Pet Parent. Accordingly, PawTrack:

  • Is not responsible for pet outcomes, damages, or property conditions
  • Does not supervise or control appointments
  • Is not liable for disputes, injuries, or losses arising from services
  • May direct parties to insurance or regulatory channels for resolution

9. Amendments

PawTrack may update this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
