Acceptable Use Policy

The PawTrack Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the standards of behavior expected from all users, including both Pet Parents and Pet Professionals. By using PawTrack, you agree to abide by these rules to help maintain a safe, respectful, and trustworthy environment.

1. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not use the PawTrack platform to:

  • Abuse, harass, threaten, or intimidate any other user, including verbal, written, or physical misconduct
  • Engage in or promote any form of illegal, unethical, or unsafe pet care activity
  • Submit false, misleading, or fake reviews, or otherwise attempt to manipulate ratings or reputation systems
  • Attempt to circumvent the platform by arranging services or payments outside of PawTrack
  • Use the platform for any activity that violates applicable laws or animal welfare standards
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, experience, or qualifications

2. Platform Integrity

PawTrack relies on a system of ratings and reliability scores to maintain trust. Users must not:

  • Solicit or offer incentives (financial or otherwise) for favorable reviews
  • Threaten negative reviews as leverage
  • Engage in review-swapping or other reputation manipulation

3. Off-Platform Activity

We strongly discourage users from bypassing the platform to make direct bookings or payments. Doing so undermines our ability to provide a safe, transparent environment.

While we cannot fully prevent off-platform contact, we log booking activity and investigate patterns that suggest misuse or circumvention.

4. Enforcement and Consequences

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in the following actions, based on severity and repetition:

  • First Offense: Written warning and reminder of policy terms
  • Ongoing or Moderate Violations: Reduction of user’s reliability score
  • Repeated Misconduct: Temporary account suspension and review
  • Severe or Continued Breaches: Permanent account ban

PawTrack reserves the right to take action at our discretion to protect users and uphold platform standards, including removing content or terminating accounts without prior notice in extreme cases.
